Fall

These days we are surrounded by still warm air of Fall, the nature resting and soaking in the sun rays and slowly changing into the gold. I am happy to turn my head to sun while waiting for the light to turn green, or jog through this thick air and feel its warmth touching my skin, or simply sit in the park, close my eyes and love the Fall.

Last Saturday I went back to Collingwood and conquered Rob Roy again.  After climbing the big mountain, this one seemed slightly smaller and it did not take as much effort as before. The fact that I was not in the lowest gear the whole climb made me feel a great sense of accomplishment. Along the way, I was quiet, just as the nature around me was quiet, resting in the Fall sunshine and breathing it in.

Later, while walking I saw a lot of apple trees, wild apples that do not have perfect round shape but taste sweet and wonderful. Not many people pay attention to them. Somewhere else, these apple trees would have been picked by now.

On Sunday, we had a Kapla blocks contest. The first theme was Halloween - Jan made a thumb-stone with the hand sticking out.

Ena made a monster maze board game.

The next topic was - America, and Ena made the Statue of Liberty.

Jan made the NYC harbour.

What more can one want?
